Nautilus Shower

The “Nautilus Shower” and was first built and exhibited at the Paris world-fair in 1900. We purchased this model, from an antique shop in Lille about five years ago, which was made for the exhibition and completely restored it.

It is hand made from solid brass and mounted on a base of IpĂ©-hardwood, the shower is 2400mm high and has a diameter of 950 mm (its big). The 14 handles allow the water to pour out of the jets and / or the hoops mounted on the central water column, the chain “see-saw” opens and closes up the gigantic shower-head on top.
